Draw a table of values with one column for the x values (on the left) and one column for the y values (on the right). You can also use the table and graph I have included as an attachment for you.
Write some x values down in the x column of your table. I would try -2, -1, 0, 1, and 2.
Take each one of those x values and plug it into your equation. Solve the equation for y. Make sure you use order of operations! Multiply your x value by 1.5, and then subtract 3 from the product.
Write each corresponding y value across from its x value. Each pair of x and y values will represent a point on your graph.
Plot each (x,y) pair on a graph. This graph represents your original function, because the points you solved for fit the function.
