Why does conduction occur in solids and liquids easier compared to gases?

Because the particles in gases are closer together and move slower

Because the particles in gases are farther apart and move faster.

Because the particles in gases rarely move.

option #2 because gas can take up a lot of space and the particles can spread out more. think of fog its a gas and it can spread out over a big area and its hard for the sun to shine through enough to heat it up and evaporate it.

B.) Because the particles in gases are farther apart and move faster.

It is because, conduction depends on closeness of the particles in an object, as in gases they are far apart, the degree of conduction is very less as compared to solids & liquids

Hope this helps!
