At the zoo, the yellow birds are fed 1/3 of a bag of seed each day. The blue birds get fed 1/4 as much as the yellow birds. How much of a bag of seed do the blue birds eat each day?

Well, we can simply figure that out from the information given.

Solution:
The bluebirds get 1/4 as much so they get 1/4 of the food. 1/4 of 1/3 is 0.083. That is 8/100 which simplifies down to 2/25.


Therefore, the bluebirds are fed 2/25 of the bag of seeds each day.
