to find the x-intercept set y=0 and solve for x.
5x-10y=20
5x-10(0)=20
5x=20
x=4
so the x-intercept is (4,0)
to find y-intercept set x=0 and solve for y.
5x-10y=20
5(x)-10y=20
-10y=20
y=-2
so the y-intercept is (0,-2)
