A total of 960 students attend bosco school. Some students walk to school, some ride the bus, and the rest come by car. The number riding the bus is 6 times greater than the number arriving by car. The number walking to school is 1/2 the number riding by the bus. How many students come to school by each form of transportation?

ratio- 6 get the bus to every 1 in the car and 3 by walk
then in ratio thats 6:1:3
add them all to get 10
960/10 is 96
96 for each point
96x6 is 576 for the bus
96x1 is 96 for car
and 96x3 is 288
add them all to check its right
576+96+288 is 960
so in ratio is 576:96:288
and normally its just 576 96 ans 288
