Step 1) Combine like terms/variables.

7y and -2y are similar, combine them.
7+(-2y)=5y

3x has no similar variables, so it stays the same

3 and 6 are similar, without variables, combine them.
3+6=9

The final answer is 5y+3x+9

Answer:no, it is not 9y + 3x +9

Explanation:

7y + 3x + 3 - 2y + 6

we can re-arrange the expression for easy operation

7y -2y + 3x + 3 + 6

5y + 3x + 9.
