Braden bought 3 packs of dog treats. He gave 3 treats to his neighbor's dog. Now Braden has 15 treats left for his dog. How many dog treats were in each pack? Complete the explanation to help you find how many dog treats were in each pack. I began with the treats left for Braden's dog. Then, I added the number of treats he gave away to get . Then I divided that number by packs. So, there were dog treats in each pack.

to find the answer, you first have to add 3 to 15. which is 18, then you divide 18 by 3 and get 6, 6 is the answer.

Hope this helps :)

15 plus 3 is 18. 18 divided by 3 is 6. So there was six in each pack.
