The roman arch was a huge factor in what made the Romans such incredible architects. It allowed them to build larger buildings, better aqueducts, and longer bridges. Basically, it was a great invention in architecture that helped them stabilize many structures.

it is the type of structure used in rome during the vast roman empire. it was built in an arch so the pressure of the bricks leaning against each other would prevent them from collapsing
