The conclusion that can be drawn from the statement of the crew of the Enola Gay is C. The crew of the Enola Gay believed that the atomic bomb was the best way to force Japan's surrender. After dropping the A-bomb, nobody spoke. They were sitting in stunned silence. The whole crew tried to view the bomb as a way to end the war.
