MK = TK
3x - 8 = 2x + 1
subtract 2x rom both sides
x - 8 = 1
add 8 to both sides
x = 9
plug 9 back in to the expression to get the value of MK
MK= 2x + 1
MK = 2(9) + 1
MK = 18 + 1 = 19
