the x intercept is where the line crosses the x axis or where y=0
the y intercept is where the line crosses the y axis or where x=0

xintercept
set y=0 and solve for x
0=-12x+4
add 12x both sides
12x=4
divide by 12
x=1/3
the x intercept is 1/3
not listed so I assume it is y=-1/2x+4, which yeilds x=-2

x intercept
using y=-1/2x+4
set x=0
y=-1/2(0)+4
y=0+4
y=4
y intercept is 4

assumign you forgot the slash to make the fraction to make
y=-1/2x+4

x intercept is -2
y intercept is 4
