1.49/3
0.5 dollars per feet.
This is a fraction equal to 1.49/3.
We want a unit rate where 1 is the denominator, so we divide the top and bottom by 3.
The answer is 0.49666667, which can be rounded to 0.5

The unit price for the electrical wire is $0.041 per inch which i found by dividing the price by the length which i converted to inches to avoid decimals with the second one. $1.49/36in =$0.041per inch. The second one is $0.69/18in =$0.038 which makes the second one a better deal
