Paragraphs that describe action can increase the reader's awareness to dangerous situations because they naturally try to relate to the situation, thinking "what if that were me" or "what would I do if that happened to me" and then just off of those few thoughts they start to analyze different danger scenarios. Therefore, reader's will automatically begin to be more aware of danger or any other possible threat.
