Scenario - A parent approaches you at the end of the day and asks how his child was today. You

let the parent know that you are a student at the centre and that he should speak directly to the
child's teacher. The parent responds that he forgot to ask when he was outside, does not have
time to go back out, but really wants to know how the day was. You were with the child all day
and you are aware that she needed to be spoken to several times in the morning but then had a
good afternoon.
How would you respond to the parent?

You would politely advise the parent to talk to the teacher again but say that the child was a bit ill-mannered at first but then had managed to calm down in the afternoon and improved her behaviour. You should state again that you are a student and in no way is your opinion something he should base his reaction on, and that again, he should speak to the teacher.
