How do plants obtain carbon?

a.from microorganisms that live in soil
b.from animals that feed on the plants
c. from caron in the soil
d.from carbon dioxide in the atmoshere?

The answer would be D. When we, or most any other animal, breath we expel carbon dioxide and the plants then use this. :)

plants obtain carbon dioxide from the leaves through the gas.
However they can also get it from soil.
