Write an analogy to show the difference between genotype and phenotype

A genotype is all of the POSSIBLE combinations of alleles that could POSSIBLY be expressed, a genotype is generally very large.

A phenotype is what is ACTUALLY expressed.

A good example is eye color...the possible eye colors in a human are green, blue, brown ect, these are genotypes. they are alike because genotype is a 2 letter code while phenotype is a physical description and quantitative data is data using numbers and qualitative data is data using physical descriptions hope this helps
