One of the major plot aspects in the wizard of oz is the journey of dorothy and her friends. how would you create the illusion of a journey if you were staging this story in a theatre?

The backdrops on the stage need to progress along with the story and you could maybe do something imaginative with the dimensions of the stage.

Answer:

In theatrical productions with a lot of geographical reference, it is necessary to know how to work well the scenarios and backgrounds.

The scenario is composed of the objects and visual elements that will compose the scene. We need to differentiate the scenery from the space of the scene, which can be a stage of a theater, the street, a boat or a classroom. The space where the scene occurs certainly defines part of the scene's characteristics.
