about 105 (exact) miles because if they drive 21 miles per gallon, just multiply 21 times 5 and 1 (gallon) times 5.

If one gallon is 21 miles, simply multiply 21 by five, for each of the five gallons and it is approximately 105 miles using 5 gallons of gas.
