4 3/4+2 5/6=how do I solve this problem

First, you add 4+2=6
Next, you have to add the 3/4 +5/6 to do so find the lowest common denominator.
LCD=12
Then multiply the first top number by 3 and the other top number by 2 to get
9/12+10/12=19/12
You get an improper fraction. You have o change t to a mixed fraction.
19/12= 1 7/12
Now you add 1+6=7
