B is the Midpoint, is the Middle way of AC
meaning, it cuts AC in two "equal segments"
namely, AB = BC

thus
3x-5 = 4x -10 <---- solve for "x"

midpoint means each piece is equal to the other.
4x - 10 = 3x - 5
x - 10 = -5
x = 5
