1/7=3/4x+1 collect the like terms
-3\4x=1-1\7
-3\4x=0.857142857 multiply both sides by 4 to get rid of the denominator
-3x=3.43(rounded off to the nearest hundredths) divide both sides by -3
x=-1.14

Here, 1/7 = 3/4x + 1
3/4x = 1/7 - 1
3/4x = -6/7
x = -6/7 * 4/3
x = -2/7 * 4
x = -8/7
In short, Your Answer would be -8/7
