HELP!!

The Andersons decided to fence in part of their yard to use as a garden. They bought 56 ft. of fencing, and they know they want the length to be 18 ft. Which equation shows how to find the width?

56 ÷ 18 = ?

This would be the equation that you would need because if they bought 56 feet of fencing, then you would divide that by the length to find the width.

Length x Width = Area

2 x (Length + Width) = Perimeter
