The answer is B! The work for it is dividing the base in half, because the segment through the middle perpendicularly bisects the triangle (the triangle is isosceles, so we can assume that.). And because the triangle is isosceles, you can just multiply 12 (half of 24) by 16 (the bisector). Because the triangles are symmetrical on both sides, you don't have to divide by two.
