7 - 3 2/5 can be solved by converting 3 2/5 into an improper fraction, and putting 7 into the same terms.
7 = 35/5
3 2/5 = 17/5
35/5 - 17/5 = 18/5
18/5 is the answer. As a mixed number, it is 3 and 3/5. Hope this helps. :)
