There are total 80 dimes in the jar. B/c...

n+d=200 = n=200-d
0.05n+0.1d=$14.00

0.05(200-d)+0.1d=$14.00
10-0.05d+0.1d=$14.00
10+0.05d=$14.00
-10 -10
0.05d=$4.00
0.05d/0.05=$4.00/0.05
d=80
