First you would find the discount off:
0.55 X 7 = 3.85
Then, subtract it from the original price- 7.00-3.85= $3.15 for the pie

i dont know if this is right but if you take 7 and divide it in half it would be 3.50 so %55 of $7 would be $4 dollars off.
