In 336 B.C., Philip II was assassinated after launching an invasion of the Persian Empire. Alexander succeeded his father as King Alexander III. He completed the invasion his father had begun, gaining power over the Persian Empire.

Alexander watched his father train ad fight at age 12 he showed his father all that he had learned. He tamed the most ferocious horse. When the next war came they father let him rule for taming the horse
