Since Danny charges $35 for 3 hours of lessons, his hourly rate is 35/3 = $11.67. Since Martin charges $24 for 2 hours of lessons, his hourly rate is 24/2 = $12. Danny has the lower hourly rate, so he is offering the better deal.
