i.e truch weighs 500 lbs so the car weighs 50lbs. lets say thw truck goes 2 mph so thatll be 1000 for the car to reach 1000 you have to divide and youll get 20. so the car has to be ten times as fast as the truck

Answer:

The car will have to move 10 times greater than the truck

Explanation:

Let x be the mass of car

Mass of truck=10x

We have to find how fast the car will have to move to have the same momentum as the truck when it moves.

We know that momentum=
mass* velocity

Momentum of car=
x* v_1

Where
v_1=velocity of car

Momentum of truck=
10x* v_2

Where
v_2=Velocity of truck

According to question

10x* v_2=x* v_1

v_1=10v_2

Hence, the car will have to move 10 times greater than the truck when both have same momentum
