Big corporations usually make plans for the future for as much as 10 years in advance. Threats usually come in the form of changing economy, failing banks, rising tides of political influence, or anything similar. What can be expected can often be seen by analyzing not only the sales data and conducting surveys, but by keeping in mind what is happening on a global level.
