Basically, we're multiplying 27 by 8 1/3.

1. 27 = 27/1
2. 8 1/3 = 8 * 3 = 24 + 1 = 25/3
3.27/1 * 25/3 = 27 * 25 = 675/3
4.675 divided by 3 = 225

Answer: 225 miles.
