Use place value. Each place after decimal point if x10. So 2.25 is 2 25/100

Basically just count how many numbers after the decimal, and multiply by 10.

Then put that number over the x10 number

Put the number b4 the decimal in front, and TADA! Also this is a mixed fraction....

Multiply denominator (Bottom of fraction) by the front number, and add it to numerator (top of fraction) That is a NON SIMPLIFIED INPROPER FRACTION

If your decimal is 0.7, you would write is as 7/10 because it is in the tenth place. 0.07 would be 7/100, 0.273 would be 273/1000 and so on.
