Round 12.29 to the nearest whole number

To round to the nearest whole number you use the over five rule. Lets start with .09 see that 9 is over 5 and round the two in front of it up one to 3 so now you have 12.3 is what we have so far now since 3 is smaller than 5 we forget and leave it as 12 so the nearest whole number is 12 ^^

12 because 2 is not bigger than 5 so the number stays the same. fir example if it was 12.87 the answer will be 13
