Climate has an effect on the temperature, amount of water and amount of sunlight in a particular area (abiotic factors) it then affects the physical features of the area as well as the kinds of plants and animals that can survive in the biome (biotic factors). Areas with low rainfall, high temperatures and large amount of sunlight leads to a dry and arid climate. On the other hand, if an area has lots of water, moderate sunlight and moderate to high temperatures leads to having a tropical biome with lush plants and several animal species. Areas with cold temperatures and little sunlight, have fewer animals and organisms, examples of these are the Arctic and Antarctic regions.
Hope this helps you!
