It can be solved by making it on bridge:
(55mil / hr)*(1hr / 60min)
hr of numerator is cancelled by hr of denominator:
=0.92mil / min
310 miles
from Boston to Syracuse:
(310mil)/(0.92mil / min)
=337 minutes
So,
It takes 337 minutes to drive 310 miles at 55 miles per hour.

310/55= 5 35/55
5 35/55=5 7/11
5 7/11 ≈ 5 38/60
5 hours and 38 minutes
or 338 minutes.
