You are making a snack mix consisting of granola and peanuts. Granola has 3 grams of fiber per ounce and peanuts have 2 grams of fiber per ounce. You want the snack mix to have at least 16 grams of fiber and weigh no more than 8 ounces.

Let x represent the number of ounces of granola in the mix and y represent the number of ounces of peanuts in the mix.
What does the solution (5, 3) represent for this system of inequalities? Question 10 options:

A) Your mixture has 5 ounces of peanuts and 3 ounces of granola.
B) Your mixture has 5 ounces of granola and 3 ounces of peanuts.
C)Your mixture has 5 grams of fiber and weighs 3 ounces.
D) Your mixture has 3 grams of fiber and weighs 5 ounces.

I think that the answer is B .I know for sure that its not C or D .Thanks for help ,and please explain your answer .Thanks again.

The correct answer is
B) Your mixture has 5 ounces of granola and 3 ounces of peanuts.
(5,3) corresponds to (x,y)
x = 5
y = 3
x represent the number of ounces of granola in the mix
y represent the number of ounces of peanuts in the mix
