The point slope formula is
y-y1=m(x-x1). The ones are subscripts. It tells you your y1 (-4) as well as your x1 (1). They also give you the m. You simply substitute your values, which would give you:

y-(-4)=5(x-1)
y+4=5(x-1)

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y + 4 = 5(x - 1)

y + 4 = 5x - 5

y = 5x - 9
