The answer would be D, Solar cells use the energy from the sun, a renewable resource, to generate electricity.

A renewable resource is something that never runs out, for example, the power of the sun. The sun comes up everyday, therefore it is considered a renewable resource.

A nonrenewable resource would be something like coal. We do use coal for things, but eventually the coal will run out. That is why coal would be considered a nonrenewable resource.

I hope this helps others understand better what the difference between a renewable resource and a nonrenewable resource is!

Sincerely, Simply <3
