Jason is studying a new plant food for a science experiment. The plant is 14 cm tall when the experiment begins and grows at a rate of 1.5 cm per week. What will the height of the plant be at the beginning of the 12th week?

1.5 cm multiplied by 12 is 18. Add 18 to 14 and you get 32 cm. Hope this helped.

Take 1.5 and multiply it by 12 (Number of weeks) giving us 18. So now we just need to add 18 to 14 and we get 32.
