advancements in technology have helped today's medical practice bececome safer than they ever were. For example back before anaesthesia, surgeries used to be painful to the patient, and complicated for the doctor because the patient would be withering and moving in pain. another example is the head light that doctors use during surgeries in order to help them see better, way back then, doctors only had head mirrors that wouldn't work as effectively compared to the head lights. Another example can be x-rays, x-rays are helpul for the surgeon to see what they need to do without causing more damage than necessary to the patient.
