How do you solve "Six less than the quotient of a number and two equals fifteen".

Steps to solve it?

x/2 - 6 = 15
x/2 -6 +6 = 15 + 6
x/2 = 21
x/2 × 2 = 21 × 2
x = 42

Check
42 ÷ 2 - 6 = 15
42 ÷ 2 = 21 -6 = 15
