Can someone help walk me through and solve this problem?? Solve for x. 2x-1/2=3-x

2x-1/2=3-x
add x on both sides

3x-1/2=3
then you divide -1/2 which is -0.5

3x-0.5=3
add 0.5 on both sides which is 2.5

3x=2.5
divide 3 on both sides

X=0.833333333333... repeating

Can someone help walk me through and solve this problem?? Solve for x. 2x-1/2=3-x
