Y así fue la creacíon, en el año 1325, de la gran Tenochtitlán, que ahora es la maravillosa Ciudad de México.

Gods told aztecs to build their city and settle in a place where they will see a signal from the gods. When they saw the eagle who was devouring a snake on top of a cactus.they saw that as a signal from gods therefore that built their home there. The flag has the same sign they saw from the gods, an eagle on top of a cactus eating an eagle.

They arrive at a lake where they look at the signal in the middle of the lake. There is an eagle on a cactus, with a snake in its mouth! All look and speak. - This is the sign we hope! This is the sign of our God! - This is where we prepare our city!

And so, in the lake of Texcoco, the Aztecs begin to build their city. They use earth and roots to create small islands. They build their houses on the islands.

And so was the creation, in 1325, of the great Tenochtitlan, which is now the marvelous City of Mexico.
