To get simplified expression we use order of operation PEMDA

WE start with parenthesis. Distribute -d inside the parenthesis


-3cd - 2dc +4d - 4d

Now we combine like terms that has same variables

4d-4d becomes 0

Expression becomes


-3cd - 2dc. Both terms has same variables so we add it


-5cd
