A box with a top has length L width W, and height H. Find the volume and surface area of the box.

L= 1.2 meters, W=0.7 meter, H=0.2

To find the volume of a shape, you multiply the length by the width and the product by the hight. If you take 1.2 meters times .7 which equals .84. Now take the .84 and multiply it by the hight = .168.

For surface area find the area of...
Length and Hight= .84
Width and Hight= .14
Width and Length= .24

Now add them all together and multiply your answer by two because each small group (L times H, etc.) has 2 sides (again Length times Hight= 2 sides) and you get your total answer.

Volume= .168 Surface area= 2.44

Now I'm not too sure if that is right but I believe it should be, but don't just rely on my answer.
