Joanne claims that (2, 4) is the midpoint of the segment connecting the points (–3, 5) and (7, 3). Is she correct? Explain how you know.

M = (x2+x1/2) , (y2+y1/2)

M=[(7)+(-3)/2] , [(3)+(5/2)]

M = [4/2], [8/2]

M= (2,4)

She is correct!
