This selection from the four freedoms speech shows very effective rhetoric, “We must especially beware of that small group of selfish men who would clip the wings of the American eagle in order to feather their own nests.”. This shows very clear rhetoric as Roosevelt explains the type of men who would betray their own people just so they can protect themselves.
