What was life like for the jews during the period of roman rule?

Well, The Romans did destroy the Great Temple. And the Temple was the center of the jewish religion! Which you could probably think that wouldnt be good for the jews. The romans ruined their history! So as you can say " The romans took history from the jews.. So life was bad with Roman leaders.
