The answer is 3x+b so try that

slope of 3 mean y=3x
to find the equation we say y=3x+C then sub -2 for x and -8 for y to find the C
-8=3*-2+C
-8=-6+C
-8+6=C
-2=C
so equation would be: y= 3x-2
