Which sentence should use semicolons to separate items in the list for clarity?

The little boy wanted a shiny, red ball, a huge Transformer truck, and a tall, professional size basketball goal for Christmas.

The little girl wanted a doll, a Barbie Jeep, and a bracelet for Christmas.

The mother wanted a clean house, a new computer, and a diamond necklace for Christmas.

The father wanted a table saw, a new coffee pot, and a pair of shoes for Christmas.

I am pretty sure that the sentence which should use semicolons in order to separate items in the list for clarity is the first sentence from the scale represeted above :
The little boy wanted a shiny, red ball, a huge Transformer truck, and a tall, professional size basketball goal for Christmas. As you can see there are a lot of commas used for characteristic and in this case it should be replaced with semicolons is some places.
